Jack Mayeaux is a Master Craftsman Upholsterer who helps his clients get the results they
want from conception to completion of a project. Jack has spent 30 years as the
owner/operator of Mayeaux Upholstery.
During that time he was also employed as an Instructor at Portland Upholstery School and
spent 7 years as The Upholstery Instructor at Portland Community College.
Jack offers a wide range of services: Consultation, Design, Materials, Fabrication, and
Instruction, just to name a few.
Jack has a variety of interests. In pursuing these he has accumulated 5 years experience in
the construction trades, He is a member of The National Association of Certified Home
Inspectors, a licensed contractor, and Certified Home Inspector in the State of
Oregon.
A native of Louisiana Jack has lived in the SW Portland area for the past 33 years. He is
married has 3 grown children and two grandchildren. Jack is active in his church, and is a
supporter of the Belmont Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and Lead with the Heart.
